In the footsteps of artists and illustrators such as Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, MAD Magazine’s Al Jaffee & Mort Drucker, the artists of       Famous Movie Monsters, Erie, Creepy and Creep Show, Alex Higgins has created a series of products for “The Militant Mutants”, focusing on the music, movies, the “Low Brow” art scene, novelty and society.

Alex, a 30 year Tattoo Artist, Hot Rod and Motorcycle enthusiast has Travelled the country, and through his experiences has developed a philosophy for his artwork that captures the essence of how he sees the world, it is though the Lense that his images, which are not “grotesque”, but rather shows the dark side of the world.

Alex weaves a new view on what some hold in high prestige. He    introduces in his Rock Zombie series, like the iconic scowl of Sid Vicious ( image to the right)  that even in death, the likeness does not fade into obscurity but becomes more than it was, making it more iconic.
